On the evening of July 11th, community members of Chabad of East Hampton, NY, led by Rabbi Leibel and Goldie Baumgarten, gathered for a “Solidarity Under the Stars” event in support of Israel during the current war with Hamas.
This remarkable evening, organized by Rabbi Isaac and Musia Baumgarten, brought together over 250 attendees to show support for Israel and to hear firsthand accounts of resilience from survivors of the Nova music festival massacre by Hamas.
The night kicked off with soulful performances by Avi Peretz and Eli Levin, whose music set a poignant and uplifting tone.
The highlight of the evening was the presence of our VIP guest speakers from Israel, Jessica and Yael. Both are survivors of the tragic Nova music festival attack. Their stories were not just accounts of survival but powerful testimonies of courage and the human spirit’s unyielding strength. Jessica and Yael shared their experiences and brought many to tears.
Produced by Mendy Boaron Productions, the event’s staging and lighting were nothing short of spectacular. Master Lighting Productions ensured that every detail, from the skyscraper lights symbolizing hope to the cozy lounge areas, created an inviting and memorable atmosphere. The open bar and the relaxed, under-the-stars setting allowed for genuine connections and heartfelt conversations among attendees.
