On a particularly auspicious day, the Hilula of the Rebbe Maharash – one of the friends of ‘Eshel Hachnosas Orchim’ wanted to make a meaningful contribution for ‘the Rebbe’s guests’, but since he cannot donate a large sum himself, he decided to take a step of “L’chatchila Ariber” and part with his most precious possession – a dollar he received from the Rebbe’s holy hand in his holy home on the 22nd of Shevat 5751 – to encourage Anash to donate at least $180 for Hachnosas Orchim.

Today, on the Yahrzeit of the Rebbe Maharash, each of us can take our own step of “L’chatchila Ariber” – to go beyond our regular capabilities and donate at least $180 to the great mitzvah of Hachnosas Orchim.
Important to know: $180 in 12 convenient monthly payments = only $15/month – truly affordable for everyone!
Anyone who has donated, or will now donate $180 or more, will be entered into the raffle for the Rebbe’s dollar, and will also merit a special blessing as per the Rebbe’s words: “Great is the mitzva of Eshel and for thousands of Jews and at an auspicious time etc. in particular – for blessings from the Source of blessings etc.”
