Domb Family Gives to Emunah

The next 18 eligible families who enroll their daughter in Camp Emunah will receive a scholarship allowance toward camp tuition from the Sara Domb Torah Fund.

Family members of the late Mrs. Sara Domb recently met with Rabbi Shea Hecht, Chairman of the NCFJE Board of Trustees. They discussed the great need in the Jewish community for appropriate fun and educational summer program for children.

Sara Domb was a lifelong advocate of Jewish education and was especially concerned with the spiritual growth of Jewish girls.

At the meeting, a representative of the Domb family told Rabbi Hecht, “We know that our mother would be gratified, knowing that we are helping needy families to enroll their daughters in Camp Emunah,” which will be celebrating its 60th season this summer.

Rebbetzin Chave Hecht, longtime director of Emunah, has assured the fund that there will be 18 more slots available to accommodate the Sara Domb Scholarship recipients.
