On December 11, 2011 the Chai Center of Dix Hills, NY, led by Shluchim Rabbi Yaakov and Zoey Saacks, held its 14th Annual Dinner Celebrating 18 years of service to the community.
The Center honored Stephanie Rubenfeld – Young Leadership Award, Cheryl and Jeff Zauderer – Couple of the year, and Naomi Zilkha with the Woman of Valor award.
The keynote speaker was the Former Mayor of NYC, Mayor Ed I. Koch.
Proceeds from the dinner will be used for The Chai Center’s ongoing programs and their expansion.
