The Girls Teen Camp Division of Camp Gan Israel of Detroit, Michigan, has announced its expansion to accommodate more campers.
The expansion, due to a much higher than anticipated enrollment, will include a new bunkhouse in the ‘motel’ building.
The teen camp is designed for 8th-grade Chabad girls entering high school.
This program is run independently of the rest of the camp with special age-appropriate activities and trips. There are also workshops, late nights, Shabbos programs, farbrengens and a Shluchos trip.
“The program will be focused around ingraining Chassidishkeit and chayus in your daughter, led by a dedicated group of staff,” camp directors said.
For more than 55 years, CGI Detroit has been at the forefront of Lubavitcher camps around the world in setting the standards for an action-packed summer, encapsulated by Chassidishkeit and Hiskashrus.
Dates for girls session are Tuesday, June 30 / 8 Tammuz – Monday, July 27 / 6 Av.
