Darchai Menachem’s First-Ever Pre 1A Class Celebrates Siddur Party

This week was a celebration of firsts at Darchai Menachem as twelve young boys received their very first siddur upon the completion of Darchai Menachem’s inaugural Pre 1A class at the Yeshiva’s first-ever Siddur Party.

This year, Darchai Menachem expanded their exceptional educational programming to Pre 1A, bringing their special brand of individualized learning to Talmidim just starting their Chinuch journey. All year long, the students worked hard to master Alef-Beis, adding Nekudos, and then blending the letters into words as they formed the foundation for a lifetime of Kriah, Tefilah, and Torah learning.

The hard work paid off as they gathered on Pesach Sheini to celebrate a special milestone of mastering Kriah fundamentals in a joyful celebration for the students, their families, and friends.
Rabbi Zalman Teleshevsky, the lead Melamed of Pre 1A, thanked families for entrusting him with the special Shlichus of introducing the young Talmidim to the world of learning, and shared the pride and joy he felt in seeing the boys grow and master learning throughout the year.

The twelve Talmidim sang a beautiful rendition of Perek Aleph Tanya and the niggun Ani Maamin and enjoyed a special slideshow presentation reflecting on their year. The proud boys were then called to the stage to receive their very own siddur and beautiful embossed certificate celebrating their accomplishments.

“Reaching the milestone of obtaining the first Siddur is an incredible accomplishment for the Talmidim, the Rebbi, and parents,” said Rabbi Yoni Sarue MSEd, the principal of Darchai Menachem. “Yet, a Chossid is never satisfied with his accomplishments. The Rebbe taught us to always strive for higher. Therefore, the Talmidim should continue to grow in their Kriah mastery and continue to practice over the summer months. We are already looking forward to the next accomplishment – the Chumash Party!”
