Daf Yomi Shiurim Grow in Crown Heights

6 Daf Yomi Shiurim are currently running daily in Crown Heights, in a new and exciting trend of the growth of Torah classes in the neighborhood.

Participants meet to learn with learned and experienced teachers at various Shuls in the neighborhood.

Several of the Shiurim have recently marked Siyum celebrations, such as a Shiur at Merkaz Avreichim taught by Rabbi Fishel Oster, and a longtime Gemara Shiur by Rabbi Shlomo Aharon Holtzberg in 770.

Another Shiur which has already completed a full cycle of the entire Shas is a daily Shiur at Chevra Shas on Kingston Avenue given by Rabbi Alexander Heppenheimer.

“The classes are crystal clear, in English, and many sources are brought in addition to the usual ones (Rashi, Tosephos), the Rambam, the Raivid, the Rosh, and many others, as well as many Chasidic sources,” one participant said.

These are in addition to many Shiurim in Rambam which take place daily around Crown Heights.
