Crown Heights business has gone tropical! This past week, Crown Heights Young Entrepreneurs (CHYE) held two business networking events in Florida to launch their new South Florida chapter.
Titled, ‘The Huddle,’ these two events featured business networking and speed mentoring which allowed attendees to ask rapid-fire questions of top business leaders and experts situated around the room.
The first Huddle was held in Coral Springs and the second in Hollandale. Both events attracted over a hundred entrepreneurs, business owners, and sales professionals from Coral Spring, Boca Raton, Parkland, Hollandale, Coconut Cay, Walnut Creek, Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, North Miami, Surfside, and the surrounding areas.
Created with Lubavitch entrepreneurs of South Florida in mind, the theme of the evening was “the launch of your local Chabad business network, right here in South Florida.”
“The anash community in South Florida is growing by leaps and bounds,” said CHYE founder, Rabbi Yehoshua Werde. “Crown Heights Young Entrepreneurs wants to be there for them as a resource.”
The attendees felt the event lived up to their expectations.
“It was my honor to speak at Rabbi Werde’s first CHYE event in South Florida on Tuesday night,” said Mendel Bergovoy, CEO of IMB Capital. “His organization will definitely be an incredible resource for the local entrepreneurial community. Wishing him much hatzlacha!”
“The huddle event provided me an opportunity for the first time since moving down to South Florida to meet my fellow peers and network with other young businessmen who I would otherwise not get a chance to meet,” said Menachem Weinstein, founder of Munch Media.
“I am very excited to see such a great organization turn its much needed attention to South Florida. It was amazing to see such a great turnout and the wide array of talent in the Florida Anash communities,” said Chezky Rodal, business Mentor and community leader.
The Huddle marked CHYE’s first foray into South Florida and this is just the beginning!
Plans are already underway for more networking events, programming, business planning services, mentorship, and other resources for the Chabad business community in South Florida.
