With the conclusion of Israel’s war with Iran and the removal of gathering restrictions by the Home Front Command, the Western Wall has resumed its regular operations. In recent hours, thousands have already flocked to the Western Wall Plaza for prayer and thanksgiving.
On the eve of Rosh Chodesh Tammuz, a spiritually auspicious time for prayer and salvation—thousands gathered at the Western Wall Plaza to participate in “Yom Kippur Katan” prayer services. At the central midday minyan, the special prayers of Nishmas Kol Chai and Mizmor L’Todah will be recited, with hundreds of worshippers offering thanks for the miracles and kindnesses witnessed during the days of battle.
The Western Wall Heritage Foundation invites the public to once again visit the Western Wall Tunnels, which have reopened to the public, and to join engaging guided tours—available for both groups and individuals—across a variety of fascinating routes.
