Don’t like ANY changes to any old chasidishe’r song.
these holly songs must be protected and preserved in their original and
authentic form. there is no room for anyone’s “improvement” and “chilling”
up an old chasidishe’r nigun!!
oh, BTY: is skipping and taking out the posuk
“אנשי דמים ומרמה וגו” with “updated” replacing it with bugy yugy music also an “improvement”
and “cool”??!!

What is a Chasidishe niggun if not a living thing? You want it all dead and gone? You know that even many different Chasidim had their own tunes for the way they prayed and learned? They were influenced by their own experiences or times. Do you have a better understanding of music or a nigun to have a valid opinion? Can you do your version? Each piece of art is a different interpretation_ Not necessarily improvement.

this. is. wholesome!

A bigger part of being a chossid is being kind and warm.
Nigunnim are feelings and everyone can express their own feelings that are true to them.
But in talking nicely, there’s only one way. Please speak like a chossid.

Nice touch

LOVE what Zalmy did with it! Anyone that understants even a little bit about music structure will appreciate what an incredible challenge it is to produce a niggun like this. So many architectural obstacles to conquer musically. For the purists, there is this thing called a stop button, use it if you cant handle a little contemporary twist. Otherwise I think this is a masterpiece that was 4 years in the making and I’m truly amazed with what Zalmy did with it. For his first official song release, he set the bar pretty high for the rest of us. Excited… Read more »

He has a beautiful voice, is a great musician and is a super nice guy,
but C’mon so is Dovid Hamelech, the נעים זמירות ישראל!!
you gotta put that posuk back immediately, it’s serious buisness.

ps: in the new addition pl print padah v’sholom (not beshalom).
