New York City Comptroller Scott M. Stringer visited the Chareidim Shmurah Matzoh Bakery in Borough Park ahead of the upcoming Pesach holiday.
Comptroller Stringer met with residents of Brooklyn’s Jewish community outside the bakery and then met with employees inside.
He then observed the process of baking matzoh alongside a diverse cross-section of Brooklyn’s Jewish community leaders, including Chanina Sperlin of the CHJCC.
The visit was coordinated by the Comptroller’s Jewish liaison, Pinny Hikind.
