It’s funny to see mostly everyone repeat the question they are asked, and followed up with…”who ever will be voted will be the right vote” so corny. also someone said: I can’t vote b/c I’m not married, only to follow up a few sec later and say he is voting…3 words. Oholei Torah Chai.
I’m one of those unusual residents of Crown Heights who lives here because I LIKE IT HERE! but I’m so dissalusioned by the morals of the people here! Why is there not a sound being heard about the Lag B’omer incident??? it’s like what happened with Obama, everything was just swept under the rug. But Thank G-d, unlike obama, Hecht did not get in.

I guess you kind of prove my point. Like I said, I don’t have anything against Hecht, or random polling, which could be interesting and informative.
What I do object to is the COLlive guy who is taking the video repeatedly suggesting that the guy he is talking to voted for Hecht–rather than waiting neutrally to hear what the guy says.
It’s relatively minor and subtle–just like most bias.
Anyway, I hope I’m wrong. Because I have been enjoying this site and it would be really nice to have an objective voice in the community…

and if they asked a bunch of poeple who they voted for and alot of them answered shea then thats the news, take it or leave it.
repporting the news means telling it as it is, even if you dont like it.

Lubavitch has more than enough websites with a bias and agenda. I had hoped that collive would be the one site that would just report the news. But from the coverage these past few weeks, and this video, it seems I was wrong. B’H, I keep out of this political garbage and did not vote today–I don’t even have an opinion on which candidate is best. But I do have an opinion that a “news” site shouldn’t be asking people who they voted for and then leading with “Hecht…?” implying the presumption on a particular candidate.

WOW I saw a video with Rabbi Hecht with every important government official around. He really knows the ropes. And it’s impressive — in the background is a sign: NCFJE. I trust that all of these government contacts will benefit out community exclusive of any other interest or institution than our community!
I hope Hecht wins. Also, Hackner doesn’t have messira on his rap sheet, so please give Hackner a vote as well. And Iy”h when the right people win, please serve us with humility.
