In order to promote Mivtzah Bayis Molei Sefarim, Chabad House of Johannesburg has over the last seven years, gotten people involved in the printing of many different sefarim.
Past projects include the printing of the Tanya, Hayom Yom, Sefer Hamitzvos and many other Jewish books.
Each person who participates gets a copy of the sefer. Part of the program is to assist people who cannot afford to bring sefarim into their homes.
This year, in memory of Rabbi Nachman Bernhard obm, one of the pioneers of Chabad in South Africa, a Chumash is being printed. The Chumash that has been chosen is ‘The Torah.’
All those who wish to honor Rabbi Bernhard are welcome to participate.
The last day to participate is on Sunday, November 20. The culminating function will be on 29 January – 2 Shevat.
