Chuck Schumer’s Republican Challenger Visits the Ohel

U.S. Senate Candidate of New York Joseph Pinion paid a visit to the Rebbe’s Ohel gravesite in Queens on Wednesday.

Joe Pinion, an advocate, entrepreneur, and Political News Commentator is running on the Republican and Conservative parties in the upcoming Senate election in New York, facing off against Democrat and U.S. Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer, who is running for his fifth term in the Senate.

Pinion was accompanied by Five Towns, NY, Shliach Rabbi Zalman Wolowik and Rabbi Shimon Kramer, Shliach in Merrick, NY.

Pinion prayed for a few moments at the Ohel, and afterward spoke about the importance of supporting Israel and issues pertaining to the Jewish community, such as antisemitism and a Moment of Silence.

“My Jewish opponent Chuck Schumer has actually gone so far as to defund Israel in order to appease other interests abroad. He has remained silent in the face of antisemitism and has alarmingly abandoned Israel at a time when stability was necessary,” Pinion said.

“As Senator, I will fight for the Jewish people, recognizing Judea and Samaria not as occupied territories, but as part of the Holy Land, an undivided Jerusalem. I will also encourage school choice and quality education that talks about Jewish history, Israel and Holocaust. My fight is not Left vs. Right, it’s right vs. wrong. The time has come to elevate our politics and support one of our most crucial allies,” said Pinion.

Pinion also visited the gravesite of Ari Halberstam, who was murdered on the Brooklyn Bridge in a terror attack in 1994.

Also at the visit were Moshe Hill, Aaron Eitan Meyer, Peter Grosz, Cindy Grosz and Ameer Beeno.
