Bais Rivkah drops the third segment of a 10 Segment Series sharing Chinuch Jems. Morah Shaindel Tiechtel reflects on the Rebbe’s take on the students of Bais Rivkah’s summer plans and how involved the school should be.
The school administration faced a dilemma when many girls preferred day camps over overnight camps, leaving a staffing gap. They were thinking of making the placement of staff for the student. However, the Rebbe advice gives a strong overarching message to parents, mechanchos, and teenagers as well.
Morah Tiechtel recalls how “we had to send in a report what every girl is doing in the summer. So we asked the Rebbe a) what’s our role and b) do we tell people where to go, what to do?”
What do you think the Rebbe answered?
Watch the video and find out “the sensitivity of the Rebbe to the needs of a teenager. The concern that a teenager doesn’t get bitterness, anger or resentment…”
