Hundreds of children gathered for a rally at 770 Eastern Parkway on Sunday to mark the auspicious day of Yud Alef Nissan, the 121st birthday of the Rebbe.
The rally was organized by Tzivos Hashem and the NCFJE.
The rally was led by Rabbi Shimon Hecht and Rabbi Shimmy Weinbaum, director of Tzivos Hashem.
During the rally, Mendel Rendler and Shterna Sara Werde presented a birthday gift to the Rebbe on behalf of chayolim from 136 schools around the world, 899,970 lines of Mishnayos Baal Peh and 1,118,828 lines of Tanya Baal Peh for a total of over 2 million lines of Mishnayos and Tanya memorized by heart.
Chayolim in Tzivos Hashem who learned the most lines of Torah recited the 12 pesukim, and then presented the gift of lines of Mishnayos and Tanya by heart to the Rebbe in honor of his 121st birthday.
