In a heartwarming tribute, Mordechai Shachna Zirkind, affectionately known as the Chief Chazan of the LEC Middle School, dedicated a moving rendition of “Darkecha Elokeinu” to Holocaust survivor Saul Dreier during a special visit to the Lubavitch Educational Center in Miami.
Saul Dreier made a poignant visit to the Lubavtich Educational Center in Miami upon learning of their planned Seder Niggunim event. His desire to participate and be inspired was evident as he graced the event with his presence, taking time to share meaningful messages with our students.
The highlight of the afternoon belonged to Mordechai Shachna Zirkind, whose beautiful rendition of “Darkecha Elokeinu” stole the show. The heartfelt dedication of this song to Mr. Dreier was a touching moment that encapsulated the spirit of unity and respect within the Lubavtich Educational Center community.
Saul proudly and emotionally shared after the song that ever since the students purchased him a pair of Teffilen he has not missed a single day.
The Lubavtich Educational Center continues to be a place where meaningful connections are forged, Chassidshkeit infused, and a resilient spirit like that of Saul’s is celebrated.
