Chassidus in Color Releases Coffee Table Book: ‘Geula Edition’

After two years of creativity, collaboration, and countless hours of learning and artistic exploration, Chassidus in Color is proud to release its very first publication: Chassidus in Color – Geula Edition, a beautifully designed coffee table book that brings Chassidus to life through art.

This inaugural volume is a curated compilation of the finest artwork from the Chassidus in Color Competition: Geula Edition, showcasing how visual creativity can express deep Chassidic ideas in a way that feels fresh, accessible, and inspiring. 

The book itself is a work of collaboration. The layout was designed by Sholom Gurary, with a striking cover created by Mush Kanner. Adding further depth and perspective, the book features a foreword from Rabbi Simon Jacobson and renowned artist Michoel Muchnik.

Each piece in the book reflects the journey of artists who took on the challenge of exploring themes of Geula through the lens of Chassidus. For many, what started as “just another art project” turned into months of learning, research, and personal discovery. The result is a carefully curated collection of artwork paired with short Chassidic insights—making it a true gem for households of all kinds, from seasoned scholars to busy young professionals looking for moments of meaning in their day.

The Chassidus in Color art contest is run in conjunction with COLlive and Rabbi Simon Jacobson’s MyLife ChassidusApplied.

This project would not have been possible without the dedication and guidance of an esteemed board of judges and advisors. Entries are evaluated by a panel of respected artists and educators, including Michoel Muchnik, renowned Chassidic artist; Rabbi Yossi Paltiel of Inside Chassidus; Rabbi Mendel Wolf, director of Brush Hour; Estee Klein of EsteeFineArt; and Mush Kanner, art director of JLI, and Esther Maxwell.
