A Chassidic dance was how the group of Talmidim-Shluchim left the Crown Heights neighborhood on their way to spend the year at Yeshiva Mesivta Menachem of Hastings-On-Hudson in Westchester County, New York.
The group includes Shneur Zalman Khazanowitz, Yakov Dovid Gordon, Moshe Zalman Vorovitch, Mendy Hendel, Reuven Neparstek, Shmuli Hecht, Shmuli Shusterman, Mendel Baron, Pinchas Pomanski, Yitzchak Shur, Mendel Holtzberg, Menachem Ezagui, and Yosef Klapman.
They also posed for a group photo outside Lubavitch Headquarters – 770 Eastern Parkway, drawing inspiration from the words the Rebbe would say to the elder bochurim spending the year helping younger ones.
“We will be learning with the bochurim, inspiring them, and Farbrenging,” one of them told COLlive.com. “Especially coming from the pandemic, the Shluchim will give the bochurim that extra boost to help them during the year.”
The Yeshiva is led by Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Zalman Heller, along with Rabbi Mendel Levin, Rabbi Sholom Ber Perlstein and Rabbi Mendel Perlow.
