For the first time ever a Lubavitcher has been named among the 100 most influential people in the Israel economy.
Zalman Bistritsky, Director of the Chasdei Lev humanitarian organization in Tzfas, was included in the “positive influence” category in the list published by the financial daily TheMarker.
The organization he opened 6 years ago helps needy families in Tzfas and nor then Israel. More then a million shekel is spend on them, with some 200 volunteers and 8 paid workers.
“I opened it with my family to continue the vision of my late father who was the Chief Rabbi of Tzfas and died at the age of 53,” Zalman was quoted.
