The historic Jewish neighborhood of Brownsville, home to and the birthplace of so many Jews, once again enjoyed the lights of Chanukah in Zion Triangle.
The growing Jewish community of Brownsville, Brooklyn, along with friends of Brownsville, gathered for a Menorah lighting in the neighborhood.
The event took place in the Zion Triangle, a triangular park area, bounded by Legion Street, Pitkin Avenue, and East New York Avenue at the junction of Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn’s Brownsville neighborhood.
The lively event included reciting the 12 pesukim, lighting the large Menorah and singing Haneiros Halalu, as well as joyous dancing.
Zion Triangle is a memorial honoring those brave soldiers who died in World War One, it was only fitting to have fellow service member Warrant Officer Omer Levy to light the menorah.

This is beyond beautiful, make the community keep on growing!
