I turn to you on Chanukah – a special time for Tzedakah, for your assistance in helping hundreds of families of Anash and Shluchim in over 30 cities in Eretz Yisroel who are in dire need for monetary support in order to feed their families on a day-to-day basis.
The financial effect of Covid-19 is at its peak, Sadly, so many are suffering from a reduced or total loss of income. So many Shluchim are struggling with fundraising, as their supporters are in a financial crisis. Currently, the Adopt A Family fund is receiving requests from many who have always managed on their own, and were even able to help others; now they too are in desperate need of help.
Our dream is to wire a substantial gift straight into the bank accounts of the 500 most needy families on our list before the end of Hanukkah. Without your partnership this will stay a dream. With your generosity, along with the help of Anash around the world, we will make this a reality.
I understand that the natural reaction to these circumstances is to worry about ourselves, but we know better than that. Now more than ever is a time to give! They need the help and we need the Zechus like never before.
