It has become a Chamah tradition to distribute food packages to members of schunah prior to Yomim Tovim. Once again, in honor Shavuos, Chamah will be distributing food packages to families in need of assistance. Each package will contain chicken, gefilte fish, fresh produce and milchige items. The chicken will be with the hashgachah of Badatz of Crown Heights.
In addition, Chamah is working with Darchai Menachem to distribute Grab-and-Go meals offered through NYC schools to all families with children under 19 years old. These will contain cheese, blintzes, milk, challah, fruit, and cold cuts.
Families with children can receive both the Chamah package and the Grab-and-Go meals package. If you would like to receive either the Chamah package or the Grab-and-go package, or both, please complete and submit the attached form by midnight, Wednesday night May 20th.

The packages will be available for pick-up the week of Shavuos behind Bais Rivkah on East New York Avenue, between Brooklyn and New York Ave, close to Brooklyn Avenue. Those who have completed the form will be notified of the time and date by email one day in advance. Chamah will load your car for you, or bring it out to you.
If you don’t have a car and can’t pick up the Chamah package, please indicate so on the attached form, and we will try to make delivery arrangements. The Grab-and-Go meals packages are not available for delivery.
