Great news for some but what about those who can’t afford to have a car or babysitting help to cover while they go themselves? Sadly people who could benefit the most don’t always get the benefit. Also there are some needy families who are too embarrassed to go pick up in public. Any ideas? Perhaps smaller pickup sites set up closer to several different sections of Crown Heights? And perhaps more timely notice m about these events so plans could be made?
Definitely giving a little notice would be helpful. And if they would allow 1 person to pick up for more people, neighbors could help each other with a ride, or babysitting, etc
So many people are going
You point out seemingly valid concerns. Maybe this organization can only help those who can and are willing to come and pick up. Maybe open a similar organization that offers also a delivery service.
What he said.
Why can’t this be posted the day before so people actually know about it??
The box had raisins from a company called “Lion Raisins”. There is no hechsher on the raisins. Is that okay or do they need a hechsher?
