50 students and young professionals from Buenos Aires, Argentina, recently returned from a Chabad youth trip to China.
The exciting trip included visiting 5 cities in 2 weeks, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guilin, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong.
In each city (besides Guilin) the group was warmly hosted at the local Chabad house for a meal.
“It was incredible to see students and young professionals who would ordinarily never step a foot in a Chabad house, who are now are very close to us,” said Shliach Zalmi Levy. “The best was the new resolutions they each took at the end of the trip.”
This trip is part of the Chabad scholarship trips from Chabad of Argentina, begun in 2001.
Students come to the Chabad center at least once a week for a shiur and at the end of the year they receive a scholarship to travel in a special trip. Past trips were to Israel, Poland, NYC, and other locations.
“Thousands of students and young professionals have taken part in this program since its founding,” Levy said.
