The visiting group included Rabbi Naftali Rot, Rabbi Moshe Havlin, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Havlin, Rabbi Dovid Brand, and Rabbi Zushe Horowitz.
The delegation extended a personal invitation to the Rosh Yeshiva to the memorial event, called “Shloshim L’Kedoshim,” that will take place in Jerusalem. The Rosh Yeshiva replied that he will attend,
G-d willing, despite the condition of his health.
Rabbi Horowitz told the Rosh Yeshiva that when he was young, he used to attend his shiurim in the Yeshiva.
COLLive was the only one that was granted permission to photograph this historical meeting.
Amazing, What a groise Tzaddik!
…from your Crown Heights cousins.
I stayed often with your parents in Yerushalayim during Shabbosim when I was learning in Crown Heights years ago and we are still in contact with your mother, may she be well.
I’m sure your father is looking down on you with pride for your contribution to global Achdus.
May you be blessed with good health and long life.
