Correct. While the rebve stressed the importance of kids hearing krias hatorah, it’s not at all a halacha or even a takanah, it’s a recommendation, and it’s not really something to be concerned about for you

Is explicitly says these are protocols for weekday minyanim. And Shabbos/shavuos protocols will be sent out separately

i wish the special shluchim in texas hatzlaha rabba me’al hameshuar

i do have a klutz kashe – is it even worth reopening when you have all these limitations? i can’t imagine davening with kavanah with with the mask / outdoors / in parking lot etc etc

i wouuld love to hear the reasoning behind it

It’s just the beginning of reopening, they are kinda testing it. It will be impossible to just reopen all at once, indoors, masks, kids etc…
All shuls are going to need limitations when they reopen
