its horible who would do that pour kids
The Cheder should sue the Bus Company. & the driver should be put behind bars on october 7th. Or before. & show it a lesson to the public, that this is Sirius business. Common poeple, if u had a job working for the government, working in a Post Office of the US, & even took “1 penny” from the register….u get handcuffs in front of the public….no exceptions.
You cannot leave a child alone on the bus with the bus driver. And we’re not even talking about a community member with yiras shomayim here. Children are so vulnerable. I’m amazed that a school would allow it and that a parent would tolerate it even once (yes, even at the expense of his or job, #10).
Unfortunately this is not the only incident with transportation.
Children being sent on the wrong bus, dropped of in the wrong place, are not uncommon stories.
This time the parents decided to act, and to bring it to the public attention.
It’s a much bigger issue, and definitely not an isolated incident.
You teach your kids about Tznius and send your little girls alone with a male driver.
(not that I haven’t heard about a boy who was abused by a frum bus driver)
The Rebbe wants ladies to use a female driver.
and you send your little girl who might remain the only passenger on the buss with a non Jewish male driver.
How can you sleep at night?
How can the school principle sleep at night?
There must be a bus monitor even if it means a little more money.
Our kids worth more than that.
A bunch of comments asking why parents are trusting the driver?
Seriously?!
The government provides bus service, which, among other things, includes background checks, and as long as the system is kept in shape (like filing charges against bad drivers) can be trusted.
So which of you is offering to provide parents with alternative transportation while they hurry off on their way to work?!
if you use jofaz or board of ed bussing you don’t know who the driver is.
Why wasn’t there a bus monitor???
Why is there not a teacher or parent in the bus to begin with? It is wrong and irresponsible of the parents and the school to allow this man to be taking the kids alone.
He may not have appeared to be one but people need to have a sense of what’s going on in the world these days.
If this happened in Israel, the driver would be totally off the hook.
WOULD YOU TRUST THIS ______ WITH YOUR MONEY? Not to mention your kid.
Why dont you have a community member caring for you kids? ה ירחם
so scary!bh the kids are ok hashem was watching!
That explains a few things…
