More than 100 participants, younger and older joined in the fancy dress Purim party at Chabad North East London & Essex, Gants Hill branch.
This years theme, Purim in the jungle was very well received with all the participants finding some way to join the fun in colorful costumes.
In addition to lively Chassidic music and a Purim message by Rabbi Aryeh Sufrin MBE, Executive Director, entertainment in the form of a drum and bongo team were brought in to listen to the sounds of the birds and animals in the jungle, appreciating even further G-d’s beautiful world.
Led by Mrs Devorah Sufrin and ably assisted Shluchos Li Risendorf and Tali Abrahamson, three days were spent in transforming our beautiful Chabad Centre into the setting of a jungle scene.
