The Chabad community is asked to say urgent Tehillim for Shneur Zalman Hakohen ben Elisheva, a young bochur who was seriously injured in a car accident along with a group of bochurim on Monday.
A group of 12 bochurim from the Yeshiva Chayolei Beis Dovid in Poconos, PA, were in a serious accident on Monday night when their car overturned in a deep ditch.
The bochurim were returning from a trip to the Rebbe in New York, and at approximately 9:30 pm the van they were traveling in overturned.
They were transported to various area hospitals and are recovering.
After undergoing tests, it has been determined that most of them are thank G-d doing well.
A few of the bochurim have remained in the hospital for observation.

Not at all placing blame here especially with no facts reported but this is an opportunity to remind people about vans and trucks. They handle much differently than a regular car. The center of gravity is higher and if one is driving a van solo versus with other people in it (and/or luggage, etc.) it will handle differently especially on curves and turns. Slow down, pay attention to the road, and if you’re not 100% up for it then don’t drive. Certainly don’t drive if you have had any alcohol whatsoever.
