The Jewish Living Expo 2012 was held on Sunday at Wembley Stadium in London with thousands of Jews visiting and enjoying fun, informative and interactive attractions and demonstrations.
Hosted by media personalities, radio presenters Nick Ferrari and Harriet Scott, visitors sampled sumptuous delights of kosher cuisine, enjoyed live acts and fashion shows and attended workshops and debates on a diverse range of engaging topics.
One of them was “Ask Rabbi Schochet Live!” where people were able to ask Rabbi Yitzchok Schochet, an influential Chabad Shliach and Rabbi of the Mill Hill Synagogue, any Jewish related question.
With over 150 exhibitors on hand, one that stood out was Chabad Lubavitch UK with a central and visible stand offering visitors to put on Tefillin (for one of the men it was the first time in his life), Shabbos candles and literature about Torah, mitzvos, Chabad schools and JLI adult education.
