Participants of the Brighton Beach Jubilee Fair in Brooklyn on Sunday were met by Srolik and Mendel Winner of Chabad Neshama, along with their friends. They were joined by a group of women from Nshei Chabad of Crown Heights.
Chabad Neshama’s booth stood out amongst the others with Jewish music, Tzedaka pushkas, and postcards with information on upcoming holidays and programs. They helped many of the men put on tefillin and gave information to many of the passersby.
The FREE organization also had a booth with Russian language literature where many participants were able to acquire Jewish books while also having the chance to put on Teffillin.
“You could see their eyes light up as they passed the booths, feeling proud of their Jewish heritage,” said Winner.
