The International Fellowship of Christians & Jews (IFCJ) is funding food for needy families in Israel ahead of the High Holidays.
It is a joint project with Collel Chabad, an Amecian-Israeli humanitarian organization, a press release of IFCJ read.
3 Million Israeli shekels are meant to be handed out to families across Israel. Each family is to get 400 Shekel worth of goods, including
kosher meat.
“This corporation between the International Fellowship and Collel Chabad constitutes a part of our national effort to assist the lower class in Israel,” said IFCJ founder and president, Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein.
