CGI Running Springs’ Head Staff

The new “Gan Chaya” (for girls) and “Gan Menachem” (for boys) overnight summer camp at Running Springs, CA, announced the head staff for its inaugural summer this year. The focus of the new camp is to serve children of Anash and Shluchim in an exciting, fun and Chassidish environment, with a heightened focus on the love and study of Torah, and Hiskashrus to The Rebbe. Rabbi and Mrs. Naftoli Schmukler are the co-directors of the new camp this year, launched at the recent West Coast Kinus HaShluchim by Rabbi Boruch Shlomo Cunin, The Rebbe’s Head Shliach on the West Coast.

Located at Chabad’s scenic Kiryas Schneerson mountaintop campus in Running Springs, “Gan Chaya” and “Gan Menachem” is a new division of the existing and popular Gan Israel Running Springs overnight camp. Kiryas Schneerson is named for The Rebbe’s parents, Rabbi Levi Yitzchak and Rebbetzin Chana Schneerson, of righteous memory. With its state-of-the-art, spacious scenic grounds, the 70-acre Kiryas Schneerson mountaintop campus features activities such as, ropes course, archery, hiking, drama, dance and much more. “Gan Chaya” and “Gan Menachem” will be facilitated through a comprehensive Ruchnious curriculum that focuses on the appreciation of davening and learning, in an exciting, hands-on way, with motivating incentive programs including Chitas, Rambam and many other creative and stimulating contests.

“Gan Chaya” is geared for girls ages 8-13, and the program dates are June 26 through July 24. The “Gan Chaya” Head Counselors are:
Mushky Bronstein (Crown Heights) and Hindy Yarmak (Crown Heights).

“Gan Menachem” is geared for boys ages 8-12, and the program dates are July 25 through August 21. The “Gan Menachem” Head Counselors are:
Mendy Moscowitz (Chicago) and Mendel Rosenblum (Pittsburgh). The “Gan Menachem” Learning Director is Mendel Sirota (Denver).
