After announcing their first ever Winter Camp earlier this year, the response from Shluchim across the country has been very encouraging.
In just a few weeks after opening registration, the camp is already close to full capacity, with 40 public school girls from around the country.
CGI in the Poconos, the only summer overnight camp for girls in public school, has over the past 10 years provided a traditional and authentic Yiddishkeit experience to over 600 girls from Chabad House communities from around the world.
Realizing the strong impact camp had on the girls this summer considering the ongoing pandemic still impacting many of the girls in their respective communities, it was clear to the directors that they couldn’t wait till next summer to give the children this most important Jewish experience.
The new Winter Camp program, a boutique program for just 45 girls will take place during the public school winter break from Thursday, December 23 – Sunday, January 2.
Ruchniyus Director:

Head counselors:

For 10 fun-filled days the girls will experience the CGIP spirit, enjoying daily trips including skiing, snow tubing & ice skating, as well as many fun indoor activities.
The camp will be based out of the Vallevue of Morristown mansion, a magnificent 19th-century 40-acre farm estate, located in Morristown N.J.
The mansion features luxury rooms and amenities ensuring the campers stay safe, warm and cozy, including large recreation and lounge areas, as well as breathtaking views, especially at sunset, along with the rustic charm of open green land.
