Camp is long yes. Counselor is not that great maybe I know I was a awesome counselor. But ill tell u the truth as much as ur parents care for you ur counselor cares much more he came to camp for practically no pay he goes from yeshiva to camp then back to yeshiva no break (much needed) sleep deprived food deprived and all for what that the camper should have a good time. U must have been the type that every one made fun of, but even most of those kids have fun at camp. maybe the first year kids r forced but after that they just wanna go back again, and many become staff members which show that they wanna give back the expierience they got as a camper to the kids now in camp.

U know, the truth is (talking from experience) camp really sucks. Your parents are forcing you to go, stuck w/ a bunch of weird kids u don’t know, a stuck up counselor, a head counselor who has nothing better to than scream his head of at you. So who would want to come back? What the camp does is, they knock into the kid’s heads that they can’t survive w/o camp. I love this song and am in tears as a former camper who will never forget Gan Yisroel ..Yet as a parent today – and maybe its just me- I ws wondering if this song is not just a tad too strong on the emotions ..like heck no one died..yet it sounds that way

What amazing summer this was. The staff was incredible and my boys really grew. Camp became their home for 8 weeks and watching this video was very emotional. As a parent it’s extremely heartwarming to know that my children were immersed in this amazing program and sad that it’s over.
They were cared for and recognized.
