When the Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka met with R’ Levi Shemtov and his future wife prior to their wedding, she asked if he was the grandson of the chossid R’ Bentzion Shemtov. When he answered in the affirmative, she commented, “Very good, because now I am sure your children will speak Yiddish.”
With that in mind, Morah Baila Bronshtein, a Crown Heights educator, has composed one-of-a-kind songs in Yiddish teaching the Parsha.
Last year, “Parsha Lidelach far Kinderlach, Chumash Bereishis” was released, and is currently in use in schools and homes around the world.
With music performed by Benshimon, and vocals by Yechiel Michel Marosov, the CD is entertaining and educational for the entire family.
Bronshtein’s next CD for Chumash Shmos will be available in Crown Heights Judaica stores in time for Kinus Hashluchim.
Although the CD is geared for young children, it is enjoyed by adults equally! The beautiful music and educational lyrics bring a joyful and relaxing atmosphere wherever it is played, making it an excellent choice for both home and classroom settings. Additionally, the CD offers a wonderful opportunity to become more fluent in the Yiddish language.
Morah Baila Bronshtein is a well-known and experienced educator. Over the years she has composed an impressive amount of Yiddish songs for children on topics such as parsha, middos tovos and Chassidishe Yomim Tovim. Her lyrics are set to Chabad niggunim and bring out Torah messages in clear and concise language. They have been used extensively as educational tools for children, aiding students in understanding and recalling basic concepts.

Go morah Baila! best morah ever!
The music is beautiful even for people who don’t understand (a lot of) Yiddish. It’s also a great way to start learning the language, in simple words and easy to remember phrases. Maybe it would be helpful if the insert could include the English translation.
