Congressional candidate Karen Harrington visited the South Florida Jewish Academy, a special needs school located in Boca Raton, to meet with the facility’s educators and obtain a better understanding of the curriculum being taught at the school.
The special needs school is spearheaded by Mrs. Baila Gansburg with the assistance of a very patient and understanding staff.
“The work of Mrs. Baila Gansburg and her dedicated staff at the South Florida Jewish Academy proves that you can make a difference and change lives,” said Harrington. “Our Public school system can certainly take lessons from the creative and innovative approaches to education of Special needs individuals that this school and teachers achieve.”
Harrington also praised the work of Chabad, saying “I have heard a lot about the Work Of Chabad- Lubavitch and as I travel the district, as well as surrounding communites, I am able to see firsthand their outreach and the vast scope of their programs. I look forward to seeing and visiting more of these centers of outreach and goodwill as the campaign goes forward.”
Mrs. Gansburg introduced the students to Harrington, Congressional candidate in Florida’s 20th District, and she spoke to them about the greatness of the United States and the freedom of religion that is core to the country’s character.
The students told Harrington that they have their own campaigns for school offices, and wished her luck on her campaign. One student told her that “elections are hard, but worth it.”
Mrs. Gansburg then thanked the Orthodox Alliance of Florida, a non-partisan association and its Chairman Rabbi Yehuda Kaploun for arranging the visit.
To me after having met and dealing with Karen one on one, she is the clear conservative choice and got 38% of the vote last time without any support; Also Mark Levin has endorced her. htttp://www.firedebbie.com
We need to make sure Debbie Wasserman Schultz-the Arab loving jew is defeated!
it is great to see that politicians are at least making an effort to see the work chabad does . karen seems to be a very nice lady and i hear she knows some of the korfs as well as kaploun and others
Karen is great, I worked closely with her in 2010 but the election as with politics as a rule is so twisted..
She’s running against Joe Kaufman for the republican primary and Joe himself is a good friend of mine and conservatives so everyone is sitting on the fence…
Like everything Baila does this school is # 1!!!
