Can You be too Religious?

Can you be too religious? Ought one to deprecate a person whose religious observance seems “Over the top?” Are the terms “Ultra-Kosher,” or “Ultra-Orthodox,” really objective? Full Story

but. . . who are we to say if someone is frum, good, or chassidishe? its based on your own opinion. thats why people think anyone frumer then them is farfrumt and anyone less is frie!!!!!! we have to becareful to be understanding and careful not to categorize anybody. when we come to the realization that the level that other people are on its their way of growing and connecting to Hashem and that if they were in our shoes, they would be much better, then all these differences would not cause any argument or categorizing!!!!

im impressed and 1000% agree, but when being ultra holy distracts you from whats really important, meaning that ones ego comes before their sensetiviy/care about other yidden, and a person thinks that they are superior, and blablabla and they therefore look down on others, that is WRONG and that “ultra holy” person is really possibly a lot less holy than the person he/she is looking down upon.
