Seven and a half quick and exciting weeks have flown by for the campers of Camp Machne Mamosh in Crown Heights.
Tuesday the children enjoyed another spectacular trip as campers marched on the annual walk across the Brooklyn Bridge.
Dozens of campers, in a single-file line marched, stopped for photos and enjoyed the scenery.
The excited children also got a peek at the Statue of Liberty, checked out some amazing boats, said some of the 12 Pesukim, watched helicopters as they took off and landed, and looked through the floor to watch the roaring waves.
The campers made a tremendous Kiddush Hashem, impressing all the passersby, Jews and non-Jews alike.
Go Zalmy Franklin! Looks like you are having a blast, we miss you tons. Lots of hugs and kisses
you were not there, how would you know whats going on. stop jumping to conclusions.
Great that they did this but no hats, few water bottles, no sunglasses, how about some sunscreen.
Heat stroke, dehydration to much sun exposure to eyes & skin can cause problems.
The camp directors should be a bit more prudent & careful.
Lets not forget those dedicated counselors who have taken care of the kids this summer.
only chabad camps….
Ditto to #1. My kids b”h had a great summer once again. I am glad to see those water bottles and cups on such a hot day! My son told me they got plenty to drink.
Shragi, where are you? I can’t find you in the picture!
Thank you very much to Rabbi Shmulie Turk and Rabbi Moshie Benshimon my children had an amazing time at camp and enjoyed the walk.
We got the full run down and history about the bridge when my kids got home.
Your hard work and dedication really paid off.
Thanks to the entire staff at Camp Machne Mamosh
