Michael Brandwein is the top out there. i was definitely very surprised to see his name at the chabad style stuff..
I’ve heard him countless times, at ACA tristate and many other camp fairs. I have all his books. He’s def. the top.
its worth going just for Michael Brandwein. he always deliver’s the keynote, and his room is always bursting to the seams.
He’s def. the top.
I will not be signing up my staff as I have an excellent orientation prepared already, and thanks to Brandwein, it has that final brandwein touch!
I had the same question and I went onto their website, they have a lot of info there. you can just email them and ask them. their email is [email protected]
I don’t fully understand you. The “mechanchim in camp would be camp directors, those who have camps, know the needs and know the industry. So take Schapiro for example. He has been doing camp for year, now runs his own camp for years and he would therefore be the perfect person for a camp related topic. You wouldn’t bring a teacher in Oholei Torah to talk about summer day camp on shlichus. Or take Shmuly Rothman who also ran a camp for years as director and know it well. Then took all that experience and knowledge and is helping camps… Read more »
Mrs rivkie Ives was my teacher when I was in school, taught my sisters and still teaches in the school in London today. She was one of my favourite teachers. If you don’t call that a practicing mechanech, then what is??
I’m friends with someone who works with the shluchim office and my friend told me that the boys will only be having male presenters. All female presenters are only presenting for the girls.
We miss you!!!
Your real #1 auntie in Sydney!

Its about time our camps did these type of things
Great Job to the coordinator.
If I would like to pay for this on my own? This looks like it would be so helpful, how do I join?
For counselors, head staff or both?
Moshe & Gedalya Shemtov & the entire Shluchim Office team- Thank you for being such a source of support to us Shluchim, & continuously giving true Nachas Ruach to our beloved Rebbe Z”YA
there is not one practicing mechanech on the list!
ive had enough of people offering advice from swivel office chairs and hiding behind fancy credentials. i want to hear from our experienced, knowlagble teachers, who know their stuff from real life.
let the people who have been doing this for twenty years, six hours a day, show the way.
its a really cute picture
This advertised on shmulyrothman.com as well. Great model of common services supporting each other! Refreshing!!!
Keep it up Shlomie and Shmuly!

YOu will never know anyone with as much capibilities
Please let us know if they are planning on broadcasting live, or showing a video of keynote speaker on-line?
will this be broadcasted live for those that dont live in NY
It is unbelievable how the staff of the shluchim office and the shluchim office as an organization literally do EVERYTHING they can to make shluchim’s life easier! Yasher Koach
Definitely a legend… But of Montreal!!!
Great idea, and lineup.
Is it really proper t have a female presenter for bochrim?
This is a really great idea!!! 2 things. 1. I once had a camp prep talk from tzali wilshansky and it was of invaluable use through out the summer. He should definitely be asked to speak. 2. They should offer this for girls too.
They should broadcast this live…
love your amazing work!!
love,
meir ives
