Camp L’chatchila Ariber Heads Into 6th Summer

As Camp L’Chatchila Ariber (CLA) heads into its sixth unforgettable summer, it continues to redefine what a summer experience can be for girls completing 7th and 8th grade.

Set against the awe-inspiring backdrops of the American West, CLA blends adventure, growth, and authentic Chassidishe values into a program that is as meaningful as it is exhilarating. Campers will once again traverse Hashem’s magnificent world, this summer expanding the journey even further to include the breathtaking beauty of Idaho and Wyoming, alongside other iconic Western landscapes.

Founded and directed by veteran camp leader Mrs. Srula Chaiton, CLA offers a one-of-a-kind three-week hybrid experience, seamlessly combining travel with the warmth and structure of an overnight camp. Campers explore majestic canyons, pristine reservoirs, wide-open deserts, towering mountains, and world-renowned national parks. Each day brings new adventures including hiking, zip-lining, canyoneering, boating, glamping, and more. The camp is designed to push comfort zones while building confidence, resilience, and joy.

But CLA is far more than an adventure camp.

At its heart, Camp L’Chatchila Ariber is a place of inner growth and inspiration. Through thoughtfully curated shiurim, engaging workshops, farbrengens, Chitas, and meaningful conversations, girls are given the space to deepen their connection to Hashem in ways that are practical, uplifting, and real. The environment nurtures independence while fostering achrayus, teamwork, and strong friendships that often last well beyond the summer.

Year after year, CLA has become known for its unique ability to create a warm, family-like atmosphere, one where every girl feels seen, supported, and encouraged to step into her strengths. The program is intentionally designed to help campers discover who they are, what they’re capable of, and how much they can grow when given the right combination of inspiration and opportunity.
