Today 15 Menachem Av: On this significant and most auspicious day on the Jewish calendar, the children of Machane Emunah Bnos Yaakov Yehuda marked the date in a very special way.
For the first time in history, a Tanya was printed in Green Lane, Pennsylvania. As we know, the Rebbe spoke about the importance of printing a Tanya in every place where Jews are to be found and alluded to the conquering of those places before the coming of Moshiach.
The children of Camp Emunah have felt, from the very beginning of this special summer, the significance of being in Pennsylvania and elevating the sparks of Kedusha most definitely hidden here.
It is even more exciting and spectacular as today marks the 30th Yarzeit of Rabbi JJ Hecht ob”m – the founder of Camp Emunah. Rabbi Hecht’s life was devoted to our Rebbe, his love of children and the spreading of Torah.
May this actually be the final Tanya printed before the coming of Moshiach and, in the zchus of the precious and pure mitzvos of the children this summer, may we merit his coming speedily in our day.
This is special Hashgacha pratit. Before I even knew about Lubavitch I was a young camper for two years at camp green lane in Pennsylvania. That this area is now being prepared to greet Moshiach is amazing to me. Yasher koach!
