The burglary suspect who was wanted for breaking into multiple homes in Crown Heights was arrested on Thursday afternoon after a successful and joint investigation between Crown Heights Shmira and the NYPD.
In addition to the reported incidents that were published last week, the suspect broke into another 2 apartments within a 10 minutes span near Albany Ave and Empire Boulevard while the victims were inside their apartment. Shmira volunteers searched for the suspect but he had already fled.
Shmira and the police department continued to extensively investigate and were successful in tracking him down and placing him under arrest.
