More than 200 Israelis and Hebrew speakers participated in a special Purim event held in Brussels by the Chabad Center for Israelis and Hebrew Speakers, headed by Rabbi Menachem and Chani Margolin as part of a Maayan Chai, headed by Rabbi Menachem and Mrs. Batsheva Hadad.
The participants enjoyed a special program that included Megillah reading and a discussion about the nature of the holiday by Rabbi Margolin, the distribution of Mishloach Manot, a costume competition and a kosher stand-up performance.
A special program was held for children by Mrs. Neta Junger from the Israeli community, and the participants enjoyed a rich bar for the holiday. The event was organized with great skill by Michal Zilberberg, the community events director.
