Yosef Bankhalter, a 19-year-old bochur who grew up on shlichus in Manhattan, NY, produces a weekly Parsha video with a lesson for life in a personal and authentic way.
A student at Bais Schneur in Wilkes Barre, PA, Bankhalter creates the videos on “how the parsha relates to my life, in a personal and authentic way. I hope you can relate and take something from it in to your life to live a life of purpose and meaning and of joy,” he says.
The videos have become popular in recent months, being shared on social media such as his Instagram account ‘Transformation in 2 Minutes.’
In this week’s video, he speaks about “the need to feel alive, not just existing.”
“We must each infuse all our activities and actions with our personal particular purpose,” he says.
