Two days after the accident in which a van of bochurim overturned on the way to their Chabad Yeshiva in the Poconos on Monday night, one of the bochurim still remains hospitalized in serious condition.
The other bochurim who were in the van were discharged from the hospital in the past two days.
One of the bochurim who was released from the hospital was seen in Crown Heights, reciting the bracha of Hagomel at the Shacharis minyan in 770 Eastern Parkway during the reading of the Torah, as those present emotionally recited Amen.
The bochurim who were hospitalized received a visit from the Yeshiva’s Menahel Ruchni, Rabbi Levi Raices, who arrived to give chizuk and speak with the bochurim.
The family of the bochur who remains in serious condition helped his nurse put on Tefillin and recite the Shema near his bedside, as Tehillim continues to be said on his behalf.
At the Yeshiva, the mezuzahs are being checked as the bochurim return to learning, with great thankfulness to Hashem for the miracles seen in the recovery of the bochurim.

I think although it’s Six months to Chodesh Ellul to Check all Mezuzos in the Yeshiva, and as well to check each Bochur who were involved in the accident…….

I’m not saying that this is the case here but Bochurim should always be careful to only take rides with drivers who drive carefully and are **100% sober** and well rested. Many years ago I experienced an accident when our driver, an older yeshiva bochur, fell asleep behind the steering wheel for a few seconds…BH all turned out miraculously ok but train your kids to only take rides with careful drivers.
