The Bochrim from Lubavitch Yeshiva in Pretoria, South Africa, have just returned from a 10 day trip to Plettenberg Bay on the Indian Ocean.
The trip was a reward for having performed outstandingly from the beginning of this year’s ‘zman’ until Gimmel Tammuz.
In addition to the learning Sedarim during the trip, the bochrim had the opportunity to hike in the forests and on the beach, visit Monkeyland and Birds of Eden, go surfing and canoeing, and go out whale spotting on a boat.
During this outing they got to witness two Great White Sharks attacking seals off the coast of the Robberg Peninsula.
The bochrim have now returned to Yeshiva and have settled back down into regular Seder, which ends on Chai Elul. “If they continue to achieve, more rewards are in the pipeline for them, including a visit to Kruger National Park and Capetown,” a staff member said.
