Bochurim to Gather at 10th Kinus

The Vaad Hatmimim is preparing its 10th annual Kinus Hatmimim, to take place at Beis Rivkah Motzei Shabbos Yud Shvat, starting at 7:30 p.m.

This year’s Kinus will also serve as a Siyum Harambam catering to some 2,500 Bochurim. “With the Siyum Harambam just two day before Yud Shevat,” says Rabbi Tzvi Altein of the Vaad Hatmimim, “it is most appropriate to celebrate the Rebbe’s Takana of Rambam on Yud Shevat.”

The program will include a Seudas Mitzva, the Siyum, and a main Farbrengen – including Pirsum Rishon video especially released by JEM. R’ Yoel Kahan, the Rebbe’s Chozer and head mashpia of Tomchei Tmimim – 770, will address the Bochurim, followed by R’ Menachem Mendel Schapiro, Mashpia in Ohr Elchonon Chabad in Los Angeles.

The main program will be followed by Farbrengens throughout the evening, with tens of Mashpi’im and Roshey Yeshiva from Yeshivos around the world.

In addition to the main Kinus, an array of shiurim and Farbrengens are being organized for the 1,000 Bochurim, of various yeshivos, who plan on spending Shabbos at the Ohel and in Crown Heights.
