In a beautiful display of hachana for Yud Daled Kislev – the 96th anniversary of the wedding of the Rebbe and Rebbetzin in 5689 – nine talmidim from Mesivta Lubavitch Miami earned the zechus of traveling to the Ohel and 770 in honor of this special day.
The group was selected through a raffle that included only the thirty bochurim who achieved the highest records in shmiras hasedorim throughout the zman. This initiative, launched by the hanhala to encourage consistency and seriousness in limud haTorah and seder, proved tremendously successful, with bochurim pushing themselves to be on time and fully present for every seder.
The seven winners plus two Shluchim– all shining examples of true Chassidishe temimim – will spend Shabbos Parshas Vayishlach at the Ohel, fully immersed in the Rebbe’s Torah and Farbrenging in connection to the yom tov of Yud Daled Kislev.
“This trip wasn’t just a prize – it was a koch in hachana and hiskashrus that will stay with them,” said one of the Mesivta Hanhala.
The hanhala announced that similar incentives for shmiras hasedorim will continue in the coming zman.
The evening began with a grand Seuda arranged by the Mesivta Shluchim followed by lively dancing and individual Farbrengens with the Mesivta Mashpi’im that lasted through the night, after which the Bochurim departed to the airport.
A special guest, Rabbi Arik Deren, came specially to farbreng with the Bochurim in Miami, and will also spend Shabbos with them at the Ohel.
The nine bochurim who merited the trip are:
Hatomim Shmuel Karp.
Hatomim Gavi Druk.
Hatomim Sruli Gansburg.
Hatomim Osher Binyeminov.
Hatomim Aryeh Basher.
Hatomim Levi Bistritzky.
Hatomim Mendel Schottenstein.
Accompanied by Shluchim Hatomim Sholem Hacohen Traurig, Hatomim Hershel Karp
May the zechus of these temimim – and their unwavering commitment to the Rebbe’s sedorim – bring brochos to their families and to all Chassidim in preparation for Yud Tes Kislev and the upcoming Yomim Tovim, and may they continue to be a source of nachas to the Rebbe and their families.
